We take immense pleasure to notice that, Bangladesh attained almost 100% self reliance in Pharmaceutical sector. Not only that, our country is exporting pharma products to more than 100 countries globally. Unfortunately, the reverse scenario exists in medical devices sector. We can hardly meet 10% of national requirement of medical devices from our own manufacturing source. JHRML ventured in 2011 to take the challenge of manufacturing complete medical devices and the relevant components.
So far, we have attained commendable success in our mission by manufacturing sterile medical devices like Surgical Suture, Buret Set, Surgical Gloves, Auto Disable (AD) Syringe, IV Cannula, and Blood Transfusion Set, earning entire satisfaction of the health professionals for the first time in Bangladesh and we are capable to comply with country’s total requirement. As far as above products are concerned, JMI established a glaring example of becoming self-reliant and get rid of foreign dependence.
